Hi there. I am a native English teacher, from Sydney, Australia. I have taught English over a 6 year period in Northeast Asia and am TEFL certified. I am currently a business English teacher to senior company executives from non English speaking backgrounds. I mostly accept students of English who are from Asia, due to similar timezone and my background experience. I have worked for 20 years in Corporate Marketing, for US multinational companies operating in Japan, China and Korea. I am an expert in the world of beauty and makeup! I hold an MBA and a Bachelors degree in Business. I am experienced in helping students to brush up their speaking fluency, through structured conversation methods. I am also experienced in teaching business English. If you are seeking short term exam preparation, I specialise in IELTS and PTE, but also have experience working with TOEFL and TOEIC. My accent is neutral, which I find works well, as most students have already developed their own "accent" from their days learning English at primary school. I have heard lately that the California accent is in fashion, but fashions come and go. My job is to empower you in critical speaking and listening skills, which is a foundational core of developing your confidence, ability and believability in English communication. I provide the conversation practice you need to gain confidence and speak more naturally. I set homework at the end of each lesson and I am available on Skype to answer any questions you may have, between lessons. In my spare time, I like to travel, bungee jump, and - like you - I also like to learn languages! I am also a part-time Dad to my lovely daughter, who is 1 year old.
