Hello! My name is Valentina and I’m a certified and experienced teacher of the English language, a holder of the Cambridge certificate TKT (Teaching Knowledge Test) Modules 1-3 on terminology, teaching approaches and techniques, lesson planning, language skills development and classroom management. I graduated from Moscow State Linguistics University (MSLU) with a diploma in language teaching in 2012. I’ve been working as a teacher for more than eight years. I have considerable experience of teaching English to different age groups (adults, children and teengers), different levels (from Beginner to Advaced) and with various purposes for studying English. I choose lesson materials according to my students' knowledge, interests and preferences, so an individual approach is the first and the most important thing I am consistent with. My chief aim is to help my students develop their ability to speak English easily, to overcome psychological barrier, to make the process of studying effective and interesting. I teach to speak English fluently and freely, paying attention to all aspects of speech activity: reading, writing, listening and, of course, speaking. I’m able to prepare students for Cambridge exams such as YLE Starters, Movers, Flyers, KET, PET, FCE, which also help to get ready for Russian state exams (ЕГЭ, ОГЭ) and for studying or living abroad. I have experience in teaching General and Conversational English.
