I have worked as an EFL teacher and private tutor since the year 2010. Throughout my career I have instructed a wide variety of students from various backgrounds and different age groups, their level ranging from elementary to advanced. I have taught students in groups, private students as well as conducted in-house training. I have taught General and Business English, preparatory classes for various examinations such as school examinations, university entry examinations, Cambridge ESOL Examinations: KET, PET, FCE, CAE, CPE and the IELTS Academic/General Training Test. I am passionate about the English language, history and culture and am keenly interested in guiding students to become high achievers. I have acquired effective teaching skills which go well with my academic and at the same time fun-filled personality which motivates students towards learning. It is by developing and presenting stimulating and comprehensible lesson plans that embrace all learning aspects that I guide my EFL students. I locate, research, design and apply a variety of resources in order to accommodate my students’ needs. It is my ultimate goal to combine my range of experience with my ability to set up and maintain an open, honest, communicative and supportive classroom, in which each student feels safe, special and appropriately challenged.
