Hello! My name is Sakura. I am currently residing in Amsterdam. I grew up in Japan, spent 11 years in Tokyo from my university days. Previously, I used to work for a mega international bank and management-consulting firm in Tokyo, so I have very professional business manner, which you might need to know in terms of working in Japan. I am a qualified Japanese teacher, obtained certificates in UK and Japan. My experiences include teaching at a high school in Australia, a secondary school in the UK, Japanese language school in Paris and online lessons for AUS schools and Vietnamese school for technical trainee Interns. I have taught over 200 students from very beginner to advanced class. I believe that learning a foreign language enriches our lives because it brings us to encounter a new culture and people. I studied English, Swedish, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch and Czech, so I know how hard it is to learn a new language! Therefore, I understand and respect your feelings because I think Japanese is difficult. Why do you want to be fluent in Japanese? Are you interested in Japanese culture? Do you like anime / manga?
