I am British born & educated, from Southampton in England, where I studied at Itchen Grammar school & the University of Southampton, finishing my studies there with a B.A. in Humanities. My later studies covered Classics, which includes Latin, Greek & classical theatre, providing me with a thorough grounding in the roots, expression & history of the English language. I have been teaching English online full time since July 2014 & have created a unique method & style of teaching. Before that I travelled around the world for over 10 years, teaching English on 4 continents, in over a dozen countries. My experience during this period included teaching all types of student & English, as well as teacher training & Academic Manager. I specialise in creating interactive teaching programmes, to suit individual student’s requirements. My most recent specialty creations were IELTS Preparation in Bangkok, on how to use & teach phonemes in Malaysia & Business English to mainly company CEOs in Casablanca. I began creating interactive teaching programmes while I was Academic Manager in Khartoum in 2009, where I created & taught grammar courses such as Conditionals & Present Perfect, & teacher trainer programmes for English teachers. My latest phase of progressive teaching creation, is online English teaching, where I have incorporated all of my experience, expertise & teaching resources to create what I believe to be a unique style & method of teaching, which is enjoyable, interesting & highly effective. I have been teaching for nearly 30 years, initially as a football coach in the UK, then as a Wushu instructor & yoga teacher in Cyprus for 5 years, before training to become an English teacher. My hobbies & pastimes include writing poetry, books & plays; practicing Tai chi, yoga & meditation; making film; studying business & global economics; as well as attending theatre & lectures on philosophy & history.
