Hello, my name is John Porfyris and I'm 69 years old and currently living in Greece. I am a native Greek speaker and teach English, German, Greek. I have taught online with Verbalplanet.com since January 2012. I can speak the following languages fluently: Greek, English, French, German, Spanish. I am currently offering a free initial trial lesson for new students. Qualifications & Experience I studied European Languages and Applied Translation Studies at the London Metropolitan University and the University of Vienna, Austria and I am holder of a Master's Degree in this field. I have taught almost all levels in English and also in German. I am used to teaching English in class and it's now very exciting to teach over Skype with students from all over the world. My qualifications have only meaning if I can help students speak the language and enjoy learning with me. This is for me the greatest satisfaction to get you excited about the language you want to learn and see you improve your skills day by day. Even though it seems not to be part of my qualification I really believe that I'll try my best so that our lesson can be fun and inspiring, uplifting and thought -provoking.
